Rebecca is the Type 1 Child Passenger Safety Technician at Absolute Baby which means she has completed ACRI (Australian Child Restraint Resource Initiative) training for the ‘Selection & Installation of Child Restraint Systems’ in 2016. As a professional member of ACRI, Bec is committed to car seat install safety and will always do what is best for your child inline with manufacturers instructions and the law.
Child Car Seat Installs
Need a car seat install? Whether you’re expecting a newborn or moving your child into the next type of car seat, we can help ensure the child car safety seat is suited to your child and installed safely. More importantly, Absolute Baby CPSTs will ensure you feel comfortable and are equipped with the skills and knowledge to keep your child traveling safely long after the initial installation.
As a result of your Absolute Baby child car safety seat appointment you will leave confident of your child safety and know you can return if you have any questions, without fear of judgement.
At an install booking, our accredited and insured CPST will:
- check over your child car safety seat
- adjust the car safety seat to correctly fit your child
- install the car seat into your vehicle following the manufactures instructions
- provide instructions on how best to use the car seat, what to adjust and when
- advise on important safety considerations and tips to make your life easier
- talk about relevant information about legislation
- present an introduction into what ‘Best Practice’ is
- discuss when to consider moving the child into a different car seat and some of the different car seat options
- give you the option to ask questions and learn more
- supply a Daily and Weekly check list so you can monitor and maintain the install

Child Car Seat Checks
Are you sure your child’s car safety seat is fitted to your child and installed correctly? BE SURE!
An ill-fitting or misused car seat increases the likelihood of serious injury in the event of an accident.
Absolute Baby offers checks of pre-installed child car safety seat and will provide a written 19-point report to ensure the car seat is suited to your vehicle, fitted to your child and is installed safely, following the manufacturer’s instructions. This will give you peace of mind that your child is travelling safely in the car.
If our CPST identifies any concerns during an check appointment, we can:
- give verbal advice on adjustments you can make to improve the fit or installation, or
- professionally install the car safety seat for a fee.
This is a fantastic service. After putting our car seat into what we thought was the correct way and in accordance with the instructions we had Bec take a look. Man were we wrong!
So worth having Bec have a look and knowing that our little girl will be travelling safely now.
